Challenge:
The Santee Santas Foundation, a 501(c)(3) registered organization located in Santee California catering to needy families asked Huston Designs to redevelop their web presense to provide visitors with a more user-friendly and professional web presenses. This new and improved web presense would give users the ability to find information about the Foundations work as well as the ability to inquire about Volunteering, Donations and recommending families for assistance. In addition, Santee Santas wanted the ability to change their web content with the need of a web developer.
Results:
Essentially, we built Santee Santas an entire Content Management system with the ability to generate and manage what their end users see on the Santee Santas website. This application allows them to manage their content at their leisure in a matter of minutes. Employing a word processor style interface in the CMS allowed their staff to update the content of the website by "cut and paste" from programs like Microsoft Word.
The Front End User Experience allows visitors to the Santee Santas website to obtain information about upcoming events (via a calendar application), view images from past events, request assistance for a needy family, and view information about making donations and volunteering.
