With over 7 years of design and development experience, Huston Designs can meet any design need you might have or want. We develop all of our websites in Active Server Pages (ASP). Using Microsoft SQL, or Microsoft Access Databases to store your websites important information.

All design work is custom designed by our graphics designers; we never use pre-made templates. We only develop what you want; we do not try to sell you any prepackaged products or unnecessary components.

What makes Huston Designs unique is our custom intranet's that are included in all contracts. This allows our clients to manage their own content, without the need to pay a developer high hourly rates or contact Huston Designs for revision work on a daily or weekly basis, thus keeping the money where it belongs, in our customer's pockets.

Our Development Process

The Design and Development process can be a time consuming, and tedious process. This is why we meet with potential clients and listen to their needs, offer ideas and suggestions to expand upon the things they want, and then develop a Website Integration and Design Specification Plan. These plans give our clients an exact page by page write up of every aspect of their website. This also gives Huston Designs a template to follow during the development process.

Once a customer agrees to the Website Integration Plan, the first step in developing the clients website is to setup their database. Once that is completed, we then work on turning their design (if one has already been agreed to) into a web page template for use throughout their website. Once these things are completed, we then start work on each area of the website, both Internet and Intranet, until the site is complete. This way as we develop the site, we can make changes to both the Internet and Intranet sites as needed during the development process.

When the development process is complete, the site is tested to make sure each area of the website performs the functions it is required to do. After the functionality testing is complete, the site is load tested to make sure that page load times do not exceed 7 seconds during what would be considered high traffic times (over 1000 unique page loads in 5 minutes).

Finally, after all tests are passed, the database is cleaned, moved over to our production server, and released to the client whereupon they can review the website.
